Yep, its June and I am posting about Easter ... at least I am getting it done!
The day before Easter we went over to the Moes where we had our annual Egg Hunt and lunch. It was so much fun. Anytime we get together with the Moes we have fun!
For the egg hunt we stagger the rush of kids. The littlest got to go first. Kai wasn't too sure what he needed to do (notice the nice Halloween basket ... we couldn't find our other one and he doesn't care, so I dont care)!
Blakers was the man. After having an egg hunt at each school he knew exactly what needed to happen!
He would bypass some eggs that were in the open to get the one egg he could spy far away.
The third wave of kids were released which let Aliya free. She got the idea of looking up high and was rewarded by a whole treasure trove of eggs.
Finally the last heat of kids was released and these were the old pros (its rare we see Taeya run but girl was in a dead sprint to get to the eggs).
Blake's basket got too heavy so he enlisted the dump truck to haul his loot!
We let the kids gorge on their goodies!
These two found a nice little corner where they could eat their treats without the big kids swiping their goodies!
Chocolate treats plus 90+ degree day equals melted, messy chocolate! We had a ton of fun, as always!
