As I think I've blogged about before, our Taeya wants to be an artist when she gets older. She loves to color, draw and create. Here in Houston, Rodeo is HUGE. Each fall the school districts are assigned a topic and each grade level is given criteria for their art pieces. Taeya was assigned something you can find on a farm and must include 3 farm animals (hence the barn, horse, chicken and cat). The art teacher from each school picks two projects per grade then forwards them on to the district, state etc eventually ending up displayed at the rodeo. Tae was one of the two second graders who had their work selected to go on to the district level. She didnt make it past there but was thrilled with her red ribbon! She had fun looking at the other art work and when we eventually went to the rodeo, she enjoyed seeing all the AMAZING pictures that made it. There are sure some talented kids!
Where the spelling is often wrong, the grammar is horrible and the punctuation sucks but the kids are pretty dang cute!

Bath time!!!
I love bath time ... well, only when its Kai alone in the tub. He is so content and happy. One afternoon Tony was home and enjoyed watching him kick and play. I love the quiet contentment in his face. No one else is vying for our attention, no one is yelling, hitting, screaming or trying to drown him. Its his time and his alone!
I also LOVE Tony's hands. Its one of my favorite parts to him. I am amazed at all those hands know how to do. Be it setting up all his techno-weenie things to ripping apart the toilet or installing new sprinklers, he can do it all. I loved getting to see his big, strong hands next to our big (so I thought until I saw these two together) strong baby. I hope our sons each get their Daddys hands!

Next time you ask me to tend ...
In case you are wondering what I do when asked to tend: here ya go! Just kidding (although a big part of me REALLY would like to do this)! We were playing outside and the girls got into the painting tape. One thing led to another and VIOLA: silence! It was heaven!
The other little girl is a friend from down the street named Genevieve. She is an only child so whenever she comes to play there are a lot of questions like "why is your play room so messy?", "why cant Taeya and I play alone?" and "why does Blake hit?". Guess those things are so common around here, my girls never question it.
