Smimmin' lessons

That's what Aliya calls these: smimmin' lessons. As you can see, she LOVED her teacher! At first she was a bit hesitant about having a boy teacher but once she warmed up, watch out! She had him wrapped around her little finger! She still doesn't like to get her face wet and is worried about drowning but at least she is more comfortable.

On this day, Old Blakers got the best swim teacher ever: his Dad! Tony was able to come be his 'teacher' one morning. I think both Blake and I welcomed the break! Blake actually had a teacher that would get wet and put their face in the water. I openly admit that I hate cold water. Nope, not a fan at all! He was lucky if Mom got in deeper than mid-chest.

You cant tell by this picture but one of his favorite things to do is jump off the side into the water. He loved climbing out of the pool and would stand and bounce as we'd count "one, two, three, JUMP". Granted there were a couple times when I wasn't fast enough at grabbing him once he'd climb out and he'd be off running for the exit. That was always fun trying to haul my preggo body out of the pool then waddle after him in a swim suit. I'm having horrible flashbacks as I type this!

I love this pic ... there are my big men surrounded by a bunch of Moms. Is my hubby too manly than to take a class with a bunch of women? Obviously not!

Tae is definitely our fish. She loved her class and really learned a lot.
